Sept 28Men's BBQ and Bible Study:  11:00-2:00pm.  Men over age 18 gather at the Hilde’s

            for an afternoon BBQ and Bible Study relating to men and family issues.  Bring

            your own BBQ & Buns- Bob will provide the sides.  Sorry - no kids and no ladies :) 

           Bob will be out of town the 26th & 27th so call early Sunday if you have questions.

Oct 1   Prayer Meeting at the church, 7pm.

Oct 5  12-4 pm: Our 3rd Annual Winter Wear Drive!  We need MANY volunteers so please

           clear your calendars.  We need many donations: New and Gently used coats, scarves,

           mittens, gloves, boots, hats, etc.  The free meal will be a potluck style Soup, Salad,

           Bread, and Dessert. Sign Up Sheets In Foyer. Please fill out a recipe card and give to

Oct 8   6:30 church business meeting, 7:30, prayer meeting.

Oct 9  Eager Beavers will begin meeting at the church. 6:45-8pm.  Tell a friend, ages 4-6.

Oct 11 Sabbath afternoon at the Jones'.  Worship.Fellowship.Bonfire.Nature.Supper.Stars.
            All invited for an afternoon & evening at our home. Pastor Devin will have a vespers
            message, supper will be provided. Bring a chair, and a treat to roast on the fire. Call

Oct 9-12 Maplewood Academy Alumni weekend. 

Oct 19 Ladies day at the church.  Those who scrapbook can bring their supplies and work

            from 10am to 6pm or any amount of time inbetween.  (no charge) Lunch will be

            served at 1pm.  Soup will be provided – bring crackers, bread etc. to go along with the

            soup.  During the day, from 2-4, those who want to make cards, and sign up by Oct

            15^th  can make 6 cards.  (bring your own adhesive, all other supplies provided, small

Oct 17 LOVE, Inc Area Food Giveaway HELP NEEDED for set up, distribution, and Clean

            Up 11-9 pm - PICK YOUR HOURS! Did you know? We are ENCOURAGED TO

            PRAY with the families who come through the line. When you call to volunteer, tell  

            them you want to help the families load groceries & pray with them.  The actual

            giveaway period is 5:00-7:00pm at Our Father's Lutheran Church of Rockford off

            Hwy 55 by Lampert's Bldg Center. Call to register as a volunteer: (763) 972-6547.

Oct 25 Will be a special Sabbath as Nic Hilde will be baptized that day.  All are invited to

            the Hildes’ for a haystack potluck after church.

Nov 7-9 Women’s Retreat –“Bring Back the Fire” at Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria, MN.
