Sept 17 Prayer Meeting at the church, 7pm.
Sept 19 Bible study at the church. 7pm.
Sept 19 LOVE, Inc Area Food Giveaway HELP NEEDED for set up, distribution, and Clean
Up 11-9 pm - PICK YOUR HOURS! Did you know? We are ENCOURAGED TO
PRAY with the families who come through the line. When you call to volunteer, tell
them you want to help the families load groceries & pray with them. The actual
giveaway period is 5:00-7:00pm at Light of Christ Lutheran in Delano corner of
County Rd 11 and County Line Rd. Call to register as a volunteer: (763) 972-6547.
Sept 28 Men's BBQ and Bible Study: 11:00-2:00pm. Men over age 18 gather at the Hilde's
for an afternoon BBQ and Bible Study relating to men and family issues. Bring your
own BBQ - Bob will provide the sides. Sorry - no kids and no ladies :) Moms: Call
Stacy if you need help with the kids during that time. 952-255-8162. (new number)
Sept 26 & 27 A Disaster Response Training Course will be offered by the Adventist
Community Services at the Rochester SDA church. Registration sheets are in the
foyer.
Oct 8 6:30 church business meeting, 7:30, prayer meeting.
Oct 11 Vespers, evening Bonfire, Star-gazing at Rob and Tara Jones’ – watch for details.
Oct 9-12 Maplewood Academy Alumni weekend. We have a fun weekend planned with alumni basketball games, reunion chorale concert, variety show, golf tournament and Friday night caramel rolls!
